William Westney Concert

Church member William Westney will present a fundraising piano concert in the Sanctuary on Sunday afternoon, January 26, at 4:00 PM. Bill is a prizewinning concert artist who has given recitals on four continents and soloed with major orchestras.

All proceeds will go to the Capital Campaign in support of the renovation project for the Kitchen, Lounge, & Fellowship Hall. Admission will be by donation – cash or check. Suggested minimum: $20 per person.

This is a follow-up to Bill’s recital at the church last April, and many thanks to all for having made that fundraiser a success. Once again, some lively (and brief!) commentary will introduce the various classical pieces. This time, the featured composers will be Mozart, Grieg, and Beethoven (the thrilling “Waldstein” sonata). Hearing beautiful pianistic masterworks in live performance is a unique and rewarding experience!
