Committee on Shared Ministry
Committee Charter
As a committee of the Board of Trustees, the Committee on Shared Ministry (COSM) exists to help strengthen the quality of the church’s shared and mutual ministries. It is charged with monitoring the four primary program areas of the church (Leadership, Religious Education, Worship, and the Congregational Committees); reporting its findings; and making constructive recommendations for areas of improvement. Its scope includes the total ministry of the church. In addition, the COSM assists and supports the Lead Minister.
The committee meets monthly; the time and place of meetings are announced to the congregation in the church’s regular communications. A portion of each meeting is open to members of the church.
We welcome feedback about the ministries of the church. Members of the congregation may bring any thoughts or concerns by email (cosm@uusat.org), or by reaching out to any member of the committee. Please note, we cannot address anonymous feedback.
