Trust Fund of Endowments
The Trust Fund of Endowments (TFOE) exists to provide financial stability and funding for special church needs, major repairs, and improvements. The TFOE’s investment manager is the Unitarian Universalist Common Endowment Fund (uucef.org). The TFOE has a Board consisting of six elected members of the Congregation.
Since its inception in 1976, the TFOE has provided funds for:
- Air conditioners
- Sewer line installation
- Roof repair
- Fire damage repair
- Computer systems
- Duplicating equipment
- Furnace replacement
- Sanctuary improvements
The TFOE relies on contributions from members and friends. Many make contributions in honor of special people or events or in memory of family and friends.
You can make a gift to the TFOE in several ways:
- An outright gift of cash, securities, or property.
- A gift through bequest, designated in one’s will or as a beneficiary of retirement funds.
- A gift through life insurance. You can make the TFOE a beneficiary of a life insurance policy.
It is best to consult with an attorney or accountant when making anything other than an outright gift.
