First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Antonio has a variety of spaces and facilities available for rent, including various classroom and meeting spaces, nursery and playground areas, and our award-winning Sanctuary. Our central location and competitive rates provide an ideal setting for your events, meetings, or classes.
Our award-winning Sanctuary with its simple beauty and astounding acoustics is an ideal setting for weddings, concerts, or presentations. Seating up to 400 people, our Sanctuary is equipped with state of the art audio and video equipment, a green room for wedding and/or concert prep, and a Wiggle room for young ones to play during events.
We offer multiple classroom spaces to accommodate different size and budget requirements. Our classrooms set ups are flexible to allow you to set up the room configuration to best serve your needs, whether it be a business meeting, support group, homeschool, meditation group, etc. We offer folding tables and chairs and some rooms feature couches for a more relaxed meeting. Our smallest classroom will accommodate up to 10 persons and our largest classroom will accommodate up to 30, and we have several classrooms in between. Our largest classroom also includes a kitchenette with refrigerator, sink, microwave, and prep space.
Our newly renovated building features a meeting hall space which accommodates up to 100 people with a stage, piano, sound system, and folding tables and chairs that can be configured however you desire. The brand new kitchen features up to date appliances including two refrigerators, three ovens, a 6 burner cooktop, two dishwashers, and an icemaker. Our 655 square foot lounge features varied seating options including a bar countertop with outlets for laptops, phone chargers, or crockpots. This beautiful new space will be perfect for luncheons, conferences, concerts, or receptions. You can rent the entire building or rent the rooms individually.
Many have described our campus as a hidden oasis of beauty and peace. The campus features a landscaped courtyard and patio with tables and stones for seating, a buddha meditation seating area, and a walking labyrinth. For children we have a large playground area and basketball court. We have ample parking on three sides of the campus and bike racks on the east side. In addition our campus is fully fenced and well lit for safety.
