Wouldn’t it be nice if we could be perfectly grounded and centered at all times? But that is impossible. There are bumps and waves and shocks to the system that perturb even the most serene beings. The better measure is not whether we get knocked off our center, but how well we are able to find it in the first place and then find it over and over again.
