We aspire to build the Beloved Community. We will start where we are and work with what we have. And that is where we hit our first challenge – because what we have are People in all our silly, gritty, noisy glory. While celebrating Pride and welcoming our new members, we’ll have to consider how a covenant-making, covenant-breaking, and covenant-remaking people might do well.
