Being a UU is not simple or easy. Our liberal religious tradition expects that we will engage with this world, learn from our experiences, and even change. Sometimes we will learn how we have missed the mark, come up short, or even flat out failed to do our best. In our discomfort or shame, we might want to hide or retreat, even become defensive or deny there was a problem. However, if we listen, we might hear the voices that are calling us forward to begin again, in love. Now there are voices calling us to consider the 8^th Principle. How might we respond?
