“Navigating Turbulent Waters” with Rev. Xolani Kacela, Ph.D. – Each year in Unitarian Universalist congregations around the country, we celebrate a water communion. It is the custom to offer water as a symbol of our connection to one another. We want to share with one another not only where our water comes from, but share what it means to us – what it symbolizes in our own lives. We invite everyone to bring a small amount of water representing what they did this summer to pour into a large communal bowl. We will also have water available, in case you forget.
