Religious Naturalism is a branch of theology that embraces science, spirituality, and philosophy and centered on nature. In this four-week series of classes, we’ll learn some of the history and basic concepts, consider the philosophical construction of “nature”, and examine how some efforts of environmentalism have fallen short. We will then look at how contemporary science writers and indigenous writers invite us into a sacred relationship with nature.
Facilitated by Rev. Nell Newton – every Thursday in October on Zoom. Contact dlre@uusat.org to obtain the Zoom link.
