Moves for the People

B.L.A.C. presents Moves for the People: Community Dance Classes. Dance lessons to support local causes and provide the restorative power of dancing to all. Reduce stress. Induce Joy. Dance and change your world.

All are welcome. $10 to $15 suggestion. Everything is optional except positivity and joy. Gotta have those…and a whole lotta love. Style of the month is Bachata, a style of social dance from the Dominican Republic.

Cause of the month: Free Battered Texas Women, an education and advocacy group whose mission is to stop arrest of abuse survivors, promote clemency, and support incarcerated/formerly incarcerated survivors ensuring they live whole productive lives.
