Easter Egg Hunt/Fundraiser

After church on Easter Sunday, children will hunt Easter eggs on the playground. Eggs will contain play money. Participants will be able to donate this “money” to any of the organizations below and exchange their eggs for an Easter gift bag.

• Animal Defense League of San Antonio
• UBarU Camp & Retreat Center
• Multi-Assistance Center (MAC) at Morgan’s Wonderland
• American Indians in Texas at the Spanish Colonial Missions
• Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation

Children have been learning about these organizations in their religious education classes so they can make an informed decision about which of the above organizations to donate to. They can donate all of their “money” to their favorite organization or split the “money” among two or more recipients.

Here’s where you come in … the amounts of play money in the Easter eggs will add up to the total amount of money donated by the congregation. You can donate however you usually do – check, on-line etc. … Just specify that your donation is for the “Spring fundraiser.”

Donations need to be received by Friday, March 29.
