First UU San Antonio has joined the Unitarian Universalists for Justice in the Middle East (UUJME), by forming a local chapter and and has started connecting with congregations throughout the United States.
Our vision is for a just peace in Palestine-Israel that reflects our UU values of respect for the inherent worth and dignity of every human being and justice, equity, and compassion in human relations.

The UUJME Chapter in San Antonio is proud to be associated with a faith that champions the rights of Palestinians at a national level.
Our mission is to work within the Unitarian Universalist community to educate and mobilize individuals, congregations, and denominational leaders to recognize and counter inequality and injustice in Palestine-Israel and to support our allies in the global justice and anti-oppression movements.

The Social Justice Committee (SJC) coordinates social justice activities with SJC teams and sub groups, the congregation members and leadership, and with partners in the larger community; and provides opportunities for our members to live out their commitment to the values and principles of our faith.
UUJME, a national organization founded in 1971, is a UUA-related social justice organization of education and advocacy siding with love with the people of Palestine-Israel.
