Sunday Service

“Courageous Love and the Work of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.”  Please join with our Black Lives and Allies in Community (BLAC), our Social Justice Committee and Racial Justice Groups with special music featuring Khadijah Jabbar. On the Sunday before the Anniversary of the MLK Holiday, we will celebrate our Courageous Love awards and ask “What did the work of MLK mean to people from different cultures?” Why is this work important? How does it relate to UU values?  We will also ask ourselves how we can continue the work that Dr. King and others started for us? Please stay with us after the service for a “safe” Fund Lunch on our Patio serving finger foods on small plates. It will benefit the justice efforts of BLAC.
