“Labor Day and Spiritual Work” with Rev. Dr. Xolani Kacela – For many Americans, life would have no purpose without work. That mindset recalls the expression, “Live to work.” For others, there is the expression, “Work to live.” We set aside the first Monday in September to celebrate and honor our freedom to work, and to earn a living (hopefully one that provides meaning). Labor Day traditionally marks the slow countdown to the end of summer.
