Humanism is a progressive philosophy of life that, without theism or other supernatural beliefs, affirms our ability and responsibility to lead ethical lives of personal fulfillment that aspire to the greater good.
It dates from Greek and Roman antiquity and was developed throughout the European Renaissance. It also played a part in the philosophical and theological movement in the U.S. and Europe in the mid-1800s and again from the1920s and 30s, through today.
You are invited to join this class via Zoom to learn about and discuss Humanism.
