Collecting Recyclables for Wildlife

Wildlife “baby season” has begun and our local Wildlife Rescue cares for lots of birds, squirrels, raccoons, reptiles and other animals. Before you recycle some items, you can give them to the rescue center: plastic or metal lids (from jars-no sharp edges) and caps (for water dishes), small yogurt cups, newspaper, non-glossy paper inserts, fabrics, and cardboard boxes, especially those about 1 ft. high by 1 ft. wide by 2 ft. long or at least 2 inches by 2 inches.

On Sunday, March 2, take your items to church and leave them in a labeled box on the patio or at any parked vehicle with a Wildlife Rescue sign.
