The Inclusion Team is excited to invite leaders and members of our community to join us in a congregational study of Salsa, Soul, and Spirit: Leadership for a Multicultural Age by Juana Bordas. This powerful work offers insights into leadership that honor diverse cultural traditions and experiences, making it particularly relevant to our ongoing commitment to building a more inclusive and welcoming congregation. There are multiple copies of this book available for check out in our Mauk Lending Library.
Each month will feature one of the Nine Principles of Multicultural Leadership presented by Juana Bordas in her book. The first Workshop, featuring “Principle #1: Sankofa: Learn from the Past,” will be offered in the Sanctuary on Nov. 23.
