Nicole Benson of the Primarily Primates animal sanctuary will give a presentation with discussion and videos about how Primarily Primates has created a better future for animals in the past, in the present, and in the future, and how the community can help. Primarily Primates is a non-profit organization in Bexar County that operates an animal sanctuary, housing 347 non-human primates and a variety of other birds and animals released from use in entertainment, research, or as rescues from the exotic pet trade
Primates are highly intelligent animals that are attracted to cardboard tubes because they offer a fun way to satisfy several natural instincts. In addition to the presentation, we will be collecting cardboard tubes (toilet paper, paper towel, wrapping paper, etc.) to donate to the organization.
