“Older, Maybe Wiser?” by the Retired UU Women’s Group – Aging! A subject we tend to avoid talking or even thinking about until it suddenly (or so it seems) confronts us. Do we resist it, deny it, embrace it? Perhaps at times all of these responses emerge. In her introduction to her collection of essays, Landscapes of Aging and Spirituality, Kathleen Montgomery refers to the French phrase for that time of day when it is no longer daylight but not yet dark: in English, The Blue Hour.
