“The Awakening of Love & Blessing of the Animals” with Rev. Mark Skrabacz, Bridget Laflin and Members, Youth and Children of our Church.

When we bless others we add value to others, we give them strength, we promise our commitment to others, we create a ritual expression of our emotions and intentions, we solidify our relationships, and we increase our potential to serve others in the world.  Isn’t it a fact that as participants in the interdependent web of life we are blessed by animals as much as we bless them? Join us at this multi-generational service featuring a Blessing of the Animals. Music by Dr. Susan Dill, Dana Clark, and T-Bow Gonzalez.

The animals will be blessed during a brief ceremony. Attendees are invited to bring a pet on a leash or in a carrier or bring a picture of their pet if the pet is not that sociable. A table will be available for memorializing deceased pets. To decorate it, you are invited to bring a photo, a collar, or some small reminder from this pet’s life.
