We will be participating in the Vote Forward initiative to write letters to Get Out the Vote for the August 8th Ohio statewide ballot measure. This measure is designed to increase the percent needed to pass a ballot measure from 50% to 60%, which if it passes, would make it harder for the people of Ohio to pass a measure protecting abortion rights.
Vote Forward uses proven strategies to create their projects and our letter writing is completely non-partisan. We don’t take any sides on the measure. We just encourage voters to go vote. It targets voters around the country who belong to groups that have been historically underrepresented in the electorate compared to their share of the population (young people and people of color).
