Celestial Celebrations

Celestial Celebrations Circle (CCC) serves the First UU Church community and the wider UU community through presenting lay-led worship services, presenting earth-centered spiritual perspectives as part of the Religious Education program, making donations to Church fund-raisers, and participation in District and Continental UU conferences.

We invite interested adults who wish to explore this spiritual path in harmony with Unitarian Universalist Purposes and Principles to contact us.

We meet on Saturdays indicated at 7:00 pm on the church grounds next to the Jefferson Building or at the Labyrinth southwest of the Sanctuary Building. Our rituals are listed in the church event calendar for the Jefferson Building.

We meet under the auspices of the First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Antonio and continue to be an officially registered chapter of the Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans.

Our purpose is to provide an opportunity at First UU for spiritual enrichment for UUs interested in exploring earth-centered spirituality and for pagans from the San Antonio area community to connect with Unitarian Universalism.

We endeavor to express through our events our reverence for all forms of life and spirit. We do NOT provide child care during our rituals. Children who are old enough or interested enough to participate are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian. Older teens (under 18) may attend without a parent present if we have written parental consent; we want to ensure that parents understand our group’s intent and practices.

At this time, we have potlucks following some rituals as a time to share and socialize, and we ask that you bring a dish to share with others when appropriate. There are no potlucks following Labyrinth Walks.

If you are interested in participating in one of our events, please check the First UU weekly announcements or monthly newsletter for more information or contact directly at the link below.
