Haven for Hope Volunteer Event

The Social Justice Committee is seeking volunteers to work a shift at the Haven for Hope Community Kitchen, a San Antonio Food Bank [SAFB] program. The dinner shift begins at 3:00pm on Saturday, November 4 and runs until 7:00pm. We have reserved 12 spaces for this first project, six of which may go to our youth members aged 15 – 17. Once we have 12 volunteers, we will send more information regarding shift instructions. If you would like to join us, please send a note to us at socialjustice@uusat.org and register following the instructions below. We will contact you by email to confirm your participation, but once you have registered with SAFB, should your circumstances change and you be unable to attend, please use the link to unregister with SAFB and let us know so that we can replace you.
Anyone interested in carpooling or volunteering to take others, please let us know. And finally, anyone wishing to meet up afterward to celebrate our good work, please let us know.
